We (Lucie, Perrien and myself) woke early to go and smell the fish of the mediterranean (that probably doesn't sound good!) It was a beautiful little place with open stalls surrounding the harbour and plenty of fish. I even saw an eel caught with a fish in its mouth!

Gozooooooooooo-First night out in Gozo
Gozooooooooooo-getting there
I have hundreds of photos from this weekend. It was hard to pick and choose which ones were the best, so I've had to divide them into days. It was a two hour journey from the University to Gozo by bus and ferry.
Who was there? Most of the the people from the University Residence, Garden View and Maltese people...

Valentine's Day
Ahhhh, Valentine's Day, unfortunately for me, my valentine was on the other side of the world! However! It did not stop me from enoying my time at an organised AEGEE party to mark the event. We were each given a name and then sent to find our partner...I was Maid Marion, but there were three Robin Hoods! and that made no sense!
Who was there?
Everyone!

Blue Grotto
On a relatively warm Sunday, we took a bus from Valetta to the Blue Grotto. There we found an amazing coastline, and a good place to eat. For those of you considering a trip to the Blue Grotto, the best time is early in the morning when the sun is in the right position. And also when it is not too windy so that you can take a boat to the cliffs.

Valetta Festival

Valetta was having some kind of festival...St Pauls celebration I think...however, the paper flying down from the sky was amazing and the crush of people unexpectedly sober AND somber. Apparently it is a day of rememberance, rather than a celebration.
The picture of the kid was a really funny situation, he was guarding his pile of paper...and then Julian came along, but the kid defended with all his strength!
Who was there?
Marine, Ashley, Fil, Adam, Molly and ME! and so many coming and going from the residence that I just can't name them all!

Smokin' Aces
One can never be lonely in the Residence...there are well over a hundred people living around me, and so there is always something to do and see. This night we went to the cinema to see an American film called 'Smokin' Aces'.

Valetta
Through the city gates....we wandered the streets of Valetta. The architecture is a strange mix of Arabic, Italian, Greek and British. Windy, and definitely cold...but we were resolved to explore this strange place....
